For the AJS Company this is a major occasion and most certainly the highlight of its events calendar. Every year preparation for this starts months in advance and it is looked forward to by management and staff with eager anticipation.

AJS were honoured to be joint MAIN SPONSORS with Law Firm Adams and Adams this year.

It is an opportunity for AJS to not only sponsor the event but also to showcase new product and service offerings, network with members of the Legal community, socialise and bond with each other – but also to have some real fun along the way.

It is a tiring but exhilarating time for all at AJS with the days beginning as early as 3am and ending close to midnight.

“We love this event despite the long hours” says AJS project manager Justin Perfect. “We are all pretty worn out by Sunday but that does not mean we did not enjoy ourselves. It was great for my team to be part of this – to interact and socialise with the clients and with each other in a great place like Sun City – and we are all looking forward to next year's event already.”

AJS would like to thank everyone at the LSNP for once again providing the opportunity to be the main sponsor. A very special thanks must go to Hester Bezuidenhout and her support team who always work tirelessly to make this the success and legend that it has become. Without her this simply could not be as successful as it is.

Thank you!

On the AJS side thanks must be extended to everyone who gave of their time but special mention must go to the following:

Johan Venter: for innovative branding ideas and for an uncanny ability to make everyone scatter, disappear and then magically reappear again.

Ruan Van Niekerk: for exceptional design skill and artistry. He is also a seasoned time traveller.

Elizabeth Minnaar: for fantastic organisational and relationship interactions – and the ability to be at the right place at the right time. She works closely with Ruan to achieve this.

Justin Perfect: For somehow managing to fit this in between the projects and for trying to convince everyone that 3am is a reasonable time to get up. He is an apprentice time traveller so still has to sleep less than Luke Skywalker and Yoda.

Robyn Hefer Candice Macdonald and Charlotte Pfaff: For showing everybody a good time. Not so much time travel as time WARP. It was all YOUR FAULT!

Franz, Mmuso, Anli and Ralph: for incredibly hard work and for taking constant abuse without flinching – and coming back for more – time and time and time and time and time and time again. Just keep on persisting and going for it – you WILL find the WORMHOLE - eventually.

Fransisca Keyser: For always being available to assist with anything and for your expertise in the pool – without flotation devices – how did you do that? – must have something to do with timing or gravity or theory of relativity or – sorry digressing now……..

Barbara Swart: For somehow managing to get there after a huge project and remain cheerful. If Ruan is the Luke Skywalker of time travel then Barbara is Yoda.

Michelle Van Buuren and Tshepo Mochabang: for complete serenity under times of stress. Making ACDC seem like Jim Croce – Time in a bottle babe.

Nick Prince and Barry Swart: for travelling forward in time from Cape Town to Gauteng. Please spread the word down there.

Armand Steyn and Thokozani Bolelwang: for making everything with a wire and a socket work.

The LSNP Golf Day

img

This took place at both the Lost City and the Gary Player golf courses from early morning Friday 29th Oct and continued throughout the day with the final 4 balls teeing off around lunchtime.

Registration took place at the Lost City clubhouse and each player received a golf package that included high quality Cutter and Buck shirts and caps tastefully branded by AJS, Adams and Adams and the LSNP. The tradition is for everyone to wear the shirts and caps on the day and it was fantastic to see everyone turned out on the golf courses in this way.

Both golf courses were full with a capacity turn out. The weather was very hot but there were ample “watering holes” available throughout the day.

The golf was extremely well organised as usual and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Congratulations to the winners – although we only want the LSNP and their beneficiaries to be the real winners on the day!

AJS wishes to thank all their clients who played Golf and made it so successful and enjoyable!
