Form the right Coalitions: PART II
Then work towards a common goal.
PART II
As Friday drew to a close and President Cyril Ramaphosa was re-elected as the President of South Africa under the newly formed Government of National Unity between the ANC – DA – IFP – NFP a somewhat uneasy tone settled amongst the national caucus.
It seemed that sleeping dogs would not lie. Jacob Zuma – the MK party’s leader – and Colleen Makhubele leader of the South African Rainbow Alliance (SARA) joined other parties under the newly formed progressive caucus of parties, which wants the recent election results set aside. In fact, this opposition caucus has gone as far as instructing its lawyers to draft a letter of demand to stop the media from misleading South Africans on the GNU –
We have asked our lawyers to write a letter of demand to the SABC to stop deliberately misleading South Africans by using terms like GNU or GPU [government of provincial unity] to refer to present sellout coalitions. This is nothing but a return of apartheid and colonialism,”
That together with the fact that the DA, the ANC, the IFP, and other parties are expected to continue forming a government of national unity in the coming week and President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to choose his cabinet, (including a deputy president and ministers), we all sit with bated breath. This is going to make for some very interesting political activity.
What will become of our national government? How will this seeming instability affect our foreign markets? And how will the less than favourable attitudes of defeated opposition parties affect the morale and outlooks of the new recruits coming into parliament this week?
Only time – and cautious optimism – will tell.
This got us thinking. Coalitions can also be thought of as working relationships, like partnerships, where two companies work together to achieve a common goal. Where two companies work together for the mutual benefit of one another. Where two companies work together to serve a mutual purpose.
And we have those – amazing synergies with companies with which we work together with in order to serve our clients. Offering products for the mutual benefit of our clients and the products that they use. Coalitions we have entered into for the better.
Working towards a common goal with E4
Who is E4?
E4’s mission is to be the most advanced company in business digitalisation. They offer cutting edge technology in the field of conveyancing and specifically offer innovative document generation and service integration, which is at the core of their dynamic conveyancing solutions, facilitating property transfer processes.
In addition, their vast range of mortgage solutions have revolutionised the way financial services and attorneys process home loans. Easy-to-use digital innovations allow these sectors to streamline every step of the mortgage process. But that’s not all, by using the latest technology, they have reinvented the way institutions onboard customers. From facial recognition to digital proof of residence authentication, their innovative solutions help their partners to reduce the administrative burden of aligning to legislation, while dramatically reducing the risk of fraud, and making it simple for a customer to switch.
And lastly, their data solutions empower their partners to conduct a vast range of data searches, delivering accurate information, promptly.
Why did we partner with E4?
It’s fairly simple really – our mission has always been to simplify the way law firms work, to ease the burdens and to decrease the labour-intensive work. And by aligning ourselves with E4, by joining our collective forces, we have once again managed to do just that.
It’s all about the accounting integration here. By E4 and AJS integrating, users save themselves a tremendous amount of time by creating (or linking existing) the corresponding account on AJS and posting fees.
All you need to do is open the account on E4, click on the Integrate button, and it does the exact same thing on AJS, i.e. pulls through the relevant info on AJS – wham bam your accounts are done. Not only are you saving time (thanks very much AJS and E4) but they are accurate to boot. Meaning you can rely wholeheartedly on the amounts found in the accounts pulled through on the AJS system – as normal.
Then once you have created fees on E4, those can also be updated to the AJS account as a WIP (work in progress) and will be converted (to fees) automatically when it is finalised on E4.
And that’s it. It sounds as simple as chips. And it is. But the difference it makes in practice is astounding.
We are sure you will agree that AJS offers something that’s more than just software…. We offer the whole package.
