By the means of surveys, from which we take the feedback provided and sift through it with a fine-tooth comb. We do this until we can break it down into actionable solutions that go to our techies and designers who then transform it into the version updates.
And then we deliver the version updates – after vigorous testing – to our clients who are able to implement and use them in their day-to-day lives. In a way that improves and betters their lives.
And we couldn’t wait to share what the latest update has in store for you –
What Version 5 has in Store for You
1. Updated Dashboards – have you ever had to scrounge around for details, or scour a matter looking just for the highlights? Time is short and you really just want the relevant information. Not all the details. Right? Right. So, with the updated dashboards you have all the information you require – tailored to your specific needs – at your fingertips.
For your convenience standard dashboards are supplied for Fee Earner, Finance, and Company, but you can customise them or create your own. There are 15 New customisable widgets to add to dashboards. In addition to the widgets that were available in version 4.
Permission settings determine who is allowed to see what, and you will be alerted to any issues with little thumbs down icons so that you can take the appropriate action.
2. Updated Documents – withstandardised document templates, you can make use of them at any time, even if you are not using the Workflow process. This provides you with accuracy, convenience, and saves valuable time when drafting pleadings and/or letters.
Standard folder sets and document templates are supplied but you can also add your own precedent folders and upload XpressDox document templates. A new option has been added under the Reports menu to View all Attachments for Accounts, Contacts, User, or General.
3. Updated Tasks – being able to manage and keep on top of your tasks – and follow up on a colleagues’ task – is crucial in an efficient and effective law firm
You can now complete/reject a task from the Quick View panel – this reduces the need to navigate between different menus.
4. Updated Client Portal – what every client wants is a portal where they can see the progress of the matter themselves without having to incur a fee, and upload (or download) documents securely.
Send an invitation to the client contact to register for the client portal manually or via a process step business rule. The contact then views their accounts, notes, and attachments. The client will only be able to see notes and attachments posted with a special “external” posting code. They can also securely upload requested documents – eliminating the need to email them.
5. Updated Contacts – the new look of contacts. Contacts have long been a part of the AJS system, but it has now received an amazing face-lift, and a few new features to boot.
Added features include a more intuitive user interface, AVS for contacts, “Do not Contact” indicator, KYC risk rating, and a Quick View pane on the contacts page.
6. Updated Mobile App – not that we needed to because our Mobile App was already pretty legendary, but we have made the mobile app even better with a fresh look home page with coloured icons and collapsible fee stats graph. We have added a menu button so that you can run reports, and another to keep an eye on your watchlist accounts.
